When Elena asked me to take some photos of her I immediately went for it. She was training intensively for almost two years and I was feeling the urge to encourage her, in spite my relative skepticism about the long lasting efficiency of Western European Yoga.
We had very little time to prepare, a few hours only and I had to modify quickly some softboxes in order to get that strip light. I wanted such minimalism. I find it aesthetically interesting while it reflects my ignorance in yoga matters.
It took a lot of effort from her, and her flow was seriously impacted by me. She insisted on following the succession of these asana almost canonically, while I emphasized the aesthetic value.
Many hours later than anticipated we managed to consolidate an amount of work, from which both of us could choose and be satisfied. Below a very narrow selection of our collaboration.
